What is Child of Light?

Child of Light is a platforming role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Released in 2014, the game is available for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game takes place in the fictional world of Lemuria. Our main character is Aurora, the daughter of the Duke of Austria. Sometime in 1895 our heroine passed away, and when she did, she awoke in Lemuria. During her adventure she encounters a "firefly" by the name of Igniculus who helps her along her journey. She, with the help of Igniculus and several other party members must journey to collect the moon, the stars, and the sun. In doing so, Aurora will reunite with her father. But this won't be easy, as the Queen of Dark, Umbra, will do anything within her power to take Aurora's light. The game is told in a form similar to a children's story book. The art is also very visually appealing to children. However, one should not be fooled by the way that the game looks. For if you're willing to look past the game's style, you'll find a very mature and well thought out game. This game will be sure to please fans of RPGs and fairy tales.
